DET-TRONICS GP16 Gas Panel Configurations

Designed to meet life-safety requirements as a combustible or toxic gas controller, the GP16 Gas Panel is a pre-configured Eagle Quantum Premier (EQP) System that incorporates combustible and/or toxic gas detectors.

GP16 offers three communication options: 1) Local Operating  Network (LON) communication, 2) 4-20 mA and LON combined, 3) 4-20 mA only.

The touch screen and alarm sounder on the front of the panel offer fast display and annunciation of system conditions.

DET-TRONICS releases GT3000 Toxic Gas Detector

The Det-Tronics GT3000 line of electrochemical fixed-point toxic-gas detectors provides continuous monitoring of the atmosphere for potentially hazardous toxic gas leaks or oxygen depletion.

 

The GT3000 family currently includes sensors that detect each of the following gases (additional gases added soon):

  • hydrogen sulfide (H2S) – SIL 2 Approved
  • hydrogen (H2)
  • oxygen (O2) – SIL 2 Approved
  • carbon monoxide (CO)
  • nitrogen dioxide (NO2)
  • ammonia (NH3)
  • chlorine (Cl2)
  • sulfur dioxide (SO2)

A complete GT3000 detector consists of a transmitter (GTX) and a sensor module (GTS). The transmitter generates a 4-20 mA output signal with HART that is proportional to the concentration of the target gas and corresponds directly to 0-100% full scale output.

Although compatible with the FlexVu Universal Display, the GT3000 is approved as a stand-alone unit and supports local calibration without the FlexVu display.

The Mark V100 Ball Valve design utilizes a standard ball with a triangular shaped wedge formed in it. This design allows for both throttling control and on/off service used in conjunction with a variety of actuators.

Typical actuators used; are the pneumatic spring and diaphragm rotary actuator (Mark 1051M), and the pneumatic piston rotary actuator (Mark 1061M).  These actuators can be mounted either horizontally or vertically on the right or left hand side viewed from forward flow inlet.

SICK has released titanium sensors for stack and duct flow monitoring for temperatures up to 800 degrees and up to 40ft.

 

The “High Power” FLOWSIC100 H version with high ultrasound power is suitable for measurements in stacks with large diameters as well as for applications with high dust content. The FLOWSIC100 M with medium acoustic power is especially suited for stacks with medium diameter. The ultrasonic transducers of the probe type FLOWSIC100 PR are mounted with fixed path length on one sender/receiver unit (measuring probe). This probe version requires installation from only one side of the duct with minimal effort. It enables installation in facilities with access from only one side.

Rugged titanium transducers are standard and suitable under difficult conditions. The measuring system needs no purge air and consists of 2 sender/receiver units and a MCU control unit. The MCU is used for input and output of signals, for calculation of volume flow to reference conditions (standardization) as well as user-friendly LCD interface.
